Joins Elite Cohort to Deliver Proprietary SpecAI™ Technology to the U.S Government
ALEXANDRIA, VA (April 11, 2025) – HyperSpectral, the world’s first AI-powered spectral intelligence company with hardware-agnostic solutions for particle detection, has been selected to join the April 2025 cohort of the Dcode Federal Accelerator. The highly competitive program equips emerging local DMV technology startups with the strategies, connections and expertise needed to succeed in the federal markeplace.
Participation in the Dcode Accelerator will provide HyperSpectral the resources, training and connections needed to bring SpecAI™ to the U.S. government to expand its federal partnerships and support agencies with scalable, mission-ready solutions.
“We’re proud to join the Dcode cohort and work alongside others solving real problems across the federal ecosystem,” said Matt Theurer, HyperSpectral CEO and co-founder. “We know how complex the federal agency landscape can be — and how much is on the line for startups. Our own proprietary SpecAI™ was built to cut through that complexity and deliver real-time insights where and when they’re needed most.”
Currently in Phase 2 of their cooperative agreement with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), HyperSpectral provides solutions to the government’s most critical challenges — from verifying supply chain integrity and detecting counterfeit materials to enabling real-time diagnostics and environmental assessments. HyperSpectral’s SpecAI™ platform uses multimodal AI to analyze a variety of data types and identify unique signatures in materials with speed and precision to identify their provenance and assure agencies that their supply chain is free of contaminants.
